The German King of Sports Sedan

European Car manufacturers have always been a tough competition to beat in any category of vehicles. Many European brands have been ruling the market in many segments of the car industry due to their high-quality production and innovation in vehicle design and features. Leading brands in these European manufacturers include the historically renowned BMW. Maintaining their position at the top has been a challenge, but BMW has remained consistent in providing great combinations of Power, Technology, and great Design. As always, this year, the BMW lineup has one of the best Sedan: The BMW 5-Series. The Combination of Performance and comfort brought by this sedan is absolutely amazing and extremely practical.

Performance Specs

The BMW lineup has always been customer friendly in almost every category. We always get to see a lot of custom options and packages for the specific needs of the customers. The 5-series have been offered in different engine options to get the best performance according to your optimization. The 530i is offered with a 4-cylinder while the 540i is offered with a 6-cylinder engine. The top of the line M550i is the best in terms of speed and performance, which is thanks to the massive 4.4-liter V-8 under its hood. The new feature that is offered on the 5-series in 2020 is the 48-volt powertrain provided to increase the boost. All the power in each configuration is transferred to wheels through the Quick and efficient Eight-speed automatic transmission. The 5-series 2021 is geared more towards the comfort element than the beast performance that is expected of most of the BMW’s. The handling is a little light to give you a feel of comfort.

Features

Comfort:

The Cabin of the 5-series gives the modern look of comfort and practicality. The front seats are an example of how BMW doesn’t compromise on comfort, as they are adjustable in 20 ways to make it suitable and comfortable to each individual’s liking.

With the new 5-series, we get to see some of the great safety techs included. The vehicle is equipped with automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection. To ensure that the safety standards are up to mark, BMW has included the Blind-spot monitoring and rear-cross traffic alert. The vehicle is also available with the adaptive cruise control, although this feature is optional, but with this year’s 5-series lineup, BMW is stepping into the world of semi-autonomous driving.

The warranty and complimentary service offered by BMW is pretty much standard for this segment of cars, but it is still better than some of its rivals. The complimentary scheduled maintenance is covered for 3 years or 36,000 miles. Whereas

  • Limited warranty covers 4 years or 50,000 miles
